The Preferred Parent Program was to relax the burden of reserving hotel accommodations in Oxford during two special dates:

• Miami University’s Parents Weekend
• Spring Commencement

To become a member of the Preferred Parents Program:

You must spend at least one night before you are considered a member.

How does the program work?

The Preferred Parent Program tracks every stay you have with our hotel. Every night during your stay is worth one point. Prior to the Parents Weekend and Spring Commencement, the points are totaled, and the guests with the most points are personally invited to stay with our hotel. You can’t “miss out” on points! Have you stayed at The Elms Hotel, but never enrolled as a Preferred Parent? The program is retroactive – it tracks all stays, even pre-membership stays, with our hotel!
